COVID-19 Vaccination for Health Workers in Thousand Islands has Been Carried Out Well

Thousand Islands Health Sub-agency confirmed no health workers who experienced adversed events following immunization (AEFI) after being injected with first dose of COVID-19 vaccine.

There are no health workers who experience significant AEFI

Thousand Islands Health Sub-agency Head, Herwin Meifendi mentioned, from the monitoring result of COVID-19 vaccination that has been carried out since one week ago, there were no reports of health workers who experienced serious AEFI.

"Alhamdulillah COVID-19 vaccination in Thousand Islands is running safely and well. There are no health workers who experience significant AEFI," he said, Tuesday (2/9).

81,064 Health Workers in Jakarta Receive First Dose of COVID-19 Vaccine

He reminded all health protocols in Thousand Islands Health Sub-agency to implement health protocols although they have been vaccinated.

"Always wear mask when you are outside, wash your hands with soap, maintain safe distance and avoid crowds," he asserted.

After the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination, total 479 health workers and employees in Thousand Islands Health Office were ready for the second phase.

"According to the instruction, second dose will be given 14 days after the first dose," he stated.
